Wedding Crashers played at our daughters wedding. Bride was beautiful, flowers - amazing, cake - delicious, dinner - SO SO good......but all the comments as our guests left "THE BAND WAS AWESOME". If you want a get up and dance type wedding band I highly recommend Wedding Crashers !

We recently had the Wedding Crashers play at our reception, and they were a big hit. We have had numerous people come up to us asking about the band and telling us how much fun they were. Needless to say, they definitely had everyone dancing all night. The drummer, who was also the DJ for the evening, was nice enough to DJ some music for people to dance to after the band was playing - so we got an extra 30 minutes of dancing time! Overall, this was a good experience, and we would recommend this band.

These guys were amazing and performed far above expectation. We have been to three other wedding receptions this year and this band was by far the best of all of them both in talent and in professionalism. The Wedding Crashers were recommended to us by The Marriott in downtown KC as they are on their preferred vendor list and we were very happy.

The Wedding Crashers are the total package including one of Kansas City's best female vocalists, awesome saxophone, funky (or shredding) guitar, crazy keyboards and of course one of the best drummers in the Midwest. Wedding Reception Planner - Sample Timeline
We know that wedding planning can be a difficult task if you are starting from ground zero. So the Wedding Crashers band would like to offer all of our couples our FREE, online wedding planner to help get you started. Remember that this is only a sample wedding reception timeline and that your wedding reception timeline may differ from this one.
6:30pm - Guest Arrival - Your guests will arrive and the Wedding Crashers band will provide DJ background music all throughout cocktails and dinner.
6:30pm - 7:30pm - Cocktail Hour (background music DJ'd by band)
7pm - Couple arrives and is introduced by The Wedding Crashers. The band can also introduce your entire bridal party. Make a big entrance and pick out a fun song to go along with your introductions. Some couples pick out one song for the bridal party to enter to and then they choose another song for the couple to enter to.
7:05pm - Cake Cutting - It's best to cut the cake right after you are introduced into the room, this gives you somewhere to go after the applause dies down from your introduction, you can go straight over to the cake.
7:30pm - 8:15pm - Dinner (background music DJ'd by band)
8:15pm - Toasts (wireless micrphones provided by The Wedding Crashers band)
8:30pm - First Dances - Couples may choose their first dance song from the Wedding Crashers song list above, or the band will DJ the first dances (Father / Daughter, Mother / Groom). If you are having trouble deciding on any of your song choices, please see our handy Popular First Dance Song Choices
8:45pm - Band Plays! - Let the Party Start!
9:45pm - Bouquet / Garter Toss
10:45pm - Band Break (the band will DJ whatever songs you like on the break!)
11pm - Band continues until the end of the party
The Wedding Crashers band has a 5.5 hour limit from time that the first guest walks in the door. In other words, if your guests are arriving at 6:30pm, The Wedding Crashers will perform until 12am. Five and 1/2 hours is more than enough time for your wedding reception, as no one wants to be at a party that drags on for 6+ hours. 5.5 is the perfect length.
